enitial currently have a vacancy for a full time Assistant Manager to join our growing Site Services Department.

Based at enitial’s head office, the Assistant Manager will be responsible for managing contracts and the day to day operations of the Site Services department, in particular, the Aftercare and Services teams.  The position will be to deputise for the Business Manager in his absence.

enitial’s Services team mainly undertake pipework and pump based environmental infrastructure projects on landfill sites with job scales ranging from minor through to over £100k.  enitial are also seeking to further expand into allied sectors.

Effective and proactive communication is key to ensure that the services provided are what the client wanted, on time, without defect and profitable whist considering the projects H&S, legal and environmental compliance obligations.

A suitable level of business awareness is required to plan for profitable and sustainable growth of the business and to assist the Business Manager to deliver that plan in line with Company and department budgets.   A proven track record of securing sales is desirable.

The Assistant Manager will be responsible for co-ordination of accurate and timely monthly schedules; assistance in ensuring prompt and accurate invoicing; co-ordination and management of operational activity; assisting sales to bring in new business from different sectors and examining where to extract value from existing client base; develop internal systems and processes to report monthly on all activity

Experience in people management is essential as the successful candidate will be required to manage and co-ordinate staff within the team, assist with team and individual development and implement a plan of continuous improvement and succession.

All duties are to be carried out in accordance with company protocols, quality assurance requirements and our client’s contract specifications. In doing this they must provide a reliable, efficient and professional level of service to our customers at enitial.

The role would suit applicants with a civil engineering/construction related background. Occasional travel and overnight stays will be required.

Starting salary £20,000 – £25,000 per annum dependant upon experience
