Mambo-Tox is part of the Cawood Scientific group, the UK’s largest independent provider of analytical testing to the land-based industries. Due to significant growth at Mambo-Tox, an opportunity to join the team as an Account Manager has become available.
Mambo-Tox is a leading European specialist research laboratory focused on terrestrial ecotoxicological testing for agrochemical and biocide regulatory purposes. The state-of-the-art laboratory, based at the University of Southampton Science Park, carry out vital studies to ensure products from companies involved in developing crop protection products meet regulatory biodiversity guidelines.
The main purpose of the role is to ensure the effective and efficient relationship management of both existing and potential client accounts. The candidate will be responsible for developing opportunities, maximising profit, profitability and developing prospective accounts.
The Candidate will be responsible for keeping in regular contact with existing and potential customers by which ever means suits (phone, video-link or email). A minimal amount of travel will be required for annual customer meetings and relevant industry conferences.
The role will be carried out over 20 flexible hours per week, the distribution of hours to be agreed between the successful candidate and the company but must cover a minimum of a 3-day split.

Successful, self-motivated applicants will have relevant business account experience, a relevant degree or equivalent and ideally an interest in the land-based industries and science.
