2020 has been a challenging year for us all, with the impact of Covid-19 felt by businesses, communities and individuals. At Cawood Scientific, we have made significant operational changes to allow us to continue to serve our customers throughout the pandemic. Whilst we have managed this with minimal disruption to our service, we have depended on the patience and goodwill of our many customers and we are grateful for your ongoing support.
I should like to pay tribute to our colleagues across the group, who have shown extraordinary commitment to Cawood and our customers. It is thanks to their efforts that we have been able to continue trading, finishing the year in a strong position for the future.
We look forward to 2021 with some optimism. This year we have made investments in several of our divisions, which will allow us to extend the services we offer to customers. We will be increasing both the numbers of tests available and our geographic coverage, in order to stay at the forefront of analysis for all our key markets. Customer service is key to our success and we will strengthen our teams in this area as well as investing in systems to improve the availability and use of data.
We don’t yet know how much influence Brexit and Covid-19 will have on business next year, but I am confident that the Cawood Group is well prepared for 2021. We look forward to working with you again in the new year. In the meantime, thank you for your custom and support in 2020.
